Luc Castera is a polyglot software developer, an entrepreneur, and an aspiring globetrotter. He works at Intellum where he leads the development of Groupdock: a platform that allows focused, elegant HTML5 applications to work together. His weapons of choice are Javascript, Ruby, and a *nix shell. He also has strong interests in Lean Startups and Erlang.

Born and raised in Haiti, Luc studied at UVA (bachelors degree) and graduated maxima cum laude from Georgia Tech (masters degree). He is a passionate football fan, loves to travel, speaks five different languages and has lived in the USA, Argentina, Uruguay, and Peru.

Luc is also the co-founder of Job509: the leading jobs website in Haiti. Previously, Luc co-founded a venture-funded startup called ShareMeme.
