I'm a New York City-based freelance writer and editor covering real estate, food, lifestyle, travel, culture, nightlife and parenting issues.

Over my 10-plus years in journalism I've written about many topics -- politics, breaking news, education, business, technology, fashion, beauty, fitness, entertainment, real estate, home cooking, dining out... just about everything but sports.

I write regularly for several publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Kveller, Time Out New York, Newsday, The Real Deal, The Forward, amNewYork and real estate website BrickUnderground, where I am a senior editor.

I am available for both writing assignments and editing projects.

Background: Before going freelance in 2011, I worked as the features editor at amNewYork newspaper, where I was in charge of the food, travel and jobs sections.

Prior to that, I was a news editor at The New York Sun. And even before that, I was the associate editor at a TV trade magazine called VideoAge International.
