Lucy Giffin

Lucy Giffin serves as a senior customer trainer for Intuitive Surgical, Inc., the developer of the da Vinci robotic surgical system. In this role, Lucy Giffin facilitates specialized training in the da Vinci technology for customers in Latin America, Canada, and Australia (LACA), promoting her firm’s development in these regions. She manages a number of projects within the LACA division, including reviewing and translating informational documents for speakers of Spanish and Portuguese, as well as launching new product literature in these languages in order to improve training processes. Continuing to promote business growth in Latin America, Luciana Giffin developed the business plan for a new da Vinci training center in Colombia, organizing the development timeline, budget, and instructor training for the new facility.

Before taking on her current role at Intuitive Surgical, Luciana Giffin graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering. She later accepted a position at BrainLAB, where she provided training in various types of surgical technology, including the iMRI intraoperative operating room.

In her free time, Lucy Giffin enjoys staying active by playing volleyball, basketball, and softball, as well as traveling around the world. She has lived in Indonesia, Egypt, and Brazil, and has visited several countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America.
