I am part of the generation X sandwiched between two larger cohorts: Baby Boomers and Millennials. My generation was marked by a sequence of cumulative events such as end of Cold War with the rise of Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, dismantling of Berlin Wall, HIV epidemic, Live Aid originated by ‪‪Bob Geldof, witnessed the end of apartheid in South Africa, dotcom bubble, dual-income families, increasing divorce rate.

I was born 10 weeks before the historic moment when Neil Amstrong has became the first person ever to set foot on the moon. I grew up watching ‪‪Star Wars; this idea of having the baddies in bright white shiny armor was fantastic.

When I was born, Nixon became US President, the Concorde first flown, Pelé scored his thousandth goal, Internet was invented - so yes I was born with Internet - and 3.6 billion people were living on earth, now we reached 8 billion humans.

La volonté d’entreprendre, de construire et de se battre pour des projets porteurs a toujours été un moteur décisif dans mes choix. Être libre d’agir et de réaliser sont les éléments fondamentaux. La volonté, sans doute, d’être maître de mon destin.
