Leslie Whittington

After over 20 years in K-8 classrooms, I was ready to leave the schedules and pacing guides behind. I knew I wasn't finished working with kids and parents, but I wanted to do it differently! I aim to work with students one-on-one and in small groups to give them space and time that is often hard to find in full classes but that they desperately need to thrive.

I enjoy working with children of all ages and am fascinated by their innate desire to create and discover. My passion as an educator has always been to meet students where they are and help them continue to connect to that innate sense of wonder and learning that often gets snuffed out when struggles arrive. I do this by building relationships, modeling lifelong learning, and providing meaningful instruction.
