Lydia O. Boyd, CLE

Lydia O. Boyd is a dedicated breastfeeding advocate who has a focus in supporting African American families in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Ms. Boyd is currently a breastfeeding counselor with a local WIC agency in Los Angeles. She has been the board chair/president and board of directors member of Soul Food for Your Baby. She has provided support to breastfeeding families since 2007. She is a twice certified Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, Certified Lactation Educator, and soon to be IBCLC.

Lydia Boyd is the proud mother of a son who has completed LA Marathons before entering college at local campus. Being an African American woman who experienced a 'poor birth outcome, Lydia understands the challenges that our parents face in making educated decisions for their families.

Lactation and family support is a passion and calling in Ms. Boyd's life. Her prayer and life's mission is that every family she encounters is equipped with the knowledge and support to raise their children with abundant love and wisdom that builds a legacy of honor and excellence.
