PHOTOGRAPHER of THINGS

Lynn has almost completely recovered from many, many years in broadcast television. If there is a positive spin it would be her coveted expertise in media strategy. Lynn's elevator speech is "talk to me for ten minutes, and I will tell your story". That's no lie, Friedman can place your story in appropriate media outlets, know what they want, when they want it and who wants it.

As an eleven-time Emmy Award recipient, Lynn has pitched, produced and edited stories that became breaking news exclusives on multiple platforms including web and broadcast television.

Besides the shiny Emmy statues, Lynn has received numerous industry awards including a shared Peabody, 2 Edward R Murrow's, AP, RTNDA, Genesis, and a Working With Difficult People certificate.

A Fulbright Fellowship consulting at Rádio e Televisão de Portugal taught her there really are 200 ways to prepare cod.

CHINA:

One month after 9-11, Lynn was invited to join a television delegation to China. This trip involved consultations with several local television and government officials. "On our off time we shared many adventures, including bbq scorpion on a stick (which tastes like raw peanuts) and an affinity for business class travel". Most importantly, Lynn learned to pretend the weird white stuff on her plate was calamari.

STAYING RELEVANT: Certified in basic HTML code, General Assembly SF, numerous travel writing/photography workshops, a great excuse for international traveling and doing good via photo-documentation.
