I am a backend engineer at Spotify.

I am the founder/leader for the San Francisco chapter of PyLadies, a mentorship group for women in the Python community. I've been on the board of the Python Software Foundation since 2012.

I have a business management degree in finance and economics, but fell in love with programming in 2011. My story about that can be found here.

I like to speak. A lot. I particularly talk on the Python community, as well as the technical work that I’ve done. Ping me if you would like to make my talks list longer.
