Born in Shehr-e-Khaas area of Srinagar city (Kashmir), India.

I had my initial education from Tyndale Biscoe School,Srinagar. Completed my Bachelor's in Science from Sri Pratap College,Srinagar. Selected for Master's programme in Biochemistry at University of Kashmir.

At present pursuing Ph.D in Human Genetics from Punjabi University (Patiala, Punjab India).

My research topic focusses upon the gene polymorphism of some CYP genes among Breast cancer patients of Kashmir, besides studying the Quality of Life of the affected individuals.
