Mac Clark

Ellensburg, WA

Clark is currently the Operations Manager for the West Coast League (WCL) Yakima Valley Pippins. He has grown up on a ball field since he could walk and talk. A three sport high school athlete stayed involved in athletics after high school. He contributes to three organizations as he completed his Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University (CWU) majoring in Public Relations. Clark graduated from CWU in June of 2014.He coaches high school football and basketball at Ellensburg High School while working full-time for the Pippins.

Clark was the second employee hired for the fledging Yakima Valley Pippins in the fall of 2013. He quickly became entrusted with Operations Manager position and helped start a WCL franchise from scratch. Playing in Yakima County Stadium a former home of the Northwest League (NWL) Yakima Bears he helped reinvigorate a dormant baseball community that saw fans come out in droves. The Pippins averaged 1,500 fans, good for 3rd in WCL and 35th in nation of Summer Collegiate Baseball ranked by the blog Ballpark Biz.

At CWU he was the team manager and video coordinator for the CWU Men’s Basketball team, a perennial powerhouse in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (NCAA DII). He also broadcasted CWU Women’s Volleyball during his time at Central.

At CWU he worked in the Recreation Center and helped the Sport Club’s department rise to heights. During his time he witness growth in the program as well as national recognition with Men’s Rugby and Wake Sports Clubs as well as coordinating the Northwest Collegiate Club Soccer Conference (NCCSC).

Throughout his time with the Ellensburg Football Program he has witnessed the program rise to new heights. He helped a 2013 varsity team reach the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) reach the 2A State Semi-Finals. He injected his technological aptitude and coordinated their scouting and video program through software company HUDL.

Clark is from Leavenworth, Wash. He has two sisters Allison and Malorie, parents Rob and Linda. He is a 2010 Graduate from Cascade High School (Leavenworth) and was the 2010 Senior Class President. He enjoys volunteering in his communities as well as umpiring high school baseball.
