Greetings and welcome to my world! The world has so much to offer. Everyday that we wake-up, we have another chance to learn something new. I am glad that I realized this very early in life and I always look forward to the next thing that I can learn about this world, myself included. My desire to explore the world and to travel was only partially consummated when I went abroad for the very first time at age 18.

My first overseas experience was as an exchange student in Switzerland. I remember the picturesque landscapes of neatly cut grassy green hills, blue skies, and residences resembling gigantic wooden doll houses with bright pink and red flowers pouring over the huge balconies. I stayed with a sweet Swiss-German family in a small village in canton Solothurn. That was almost 15 years ago. Since then, I have lived in villages in Papua New Guinea, in Mongolia with nomads, earned my bachelor and law degrees, researched or worked in Kosovo, Madagascar, Azerbaijan, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Suriname, New Zealand and Australia, lost 90 lbs somewhere in between there, and now I live in turkey. My passion is social justice activism. Travelling has certainly changed my outlook on life and hopes for the future. I am constantly seeking ways to improve myself and the world in which we live.
