Maeghan Smulders has always believed the world is full of opportunity and her career to date has proven that. She loves to take crazy ideas and make them happen. Straight out of University, she embarked on a challenge, ProjectONE12, finding her dream job with 10 Internships in 112 days over 2 countries. And so her life as an entrepreneur began, meeting inspiring people and working on meaningful projects.

Her Director of Marketing role at startup PasswordBox, saw Maeghan lead the launch of a product that has had millions of downloads worldwide. When Intel acquired the business, Maeghan transitioned to lead strategic and growth marketing of a new innovative product, True Key by Intel Security.

Maeghan is an author, entrepreneur, and keynote speaker, working with fortune 500 companies. She has been nationally recognized for her entrepreneurial work, written award-nominated academic papers, and helped to build houses in developing countries, as well as coordinating the Montreal community initiative ‘All Girls Hack-Night’.

She is a passionate storyteller, self-proclaimed tech fanatic, and currently assisting startups and mentoring students. With a future focus on investing in women, education, and wide-spread disease prevention, life’s adventure beckons!
