Shri Mahesh Kisan Motewar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Samruddha Jeevan Foods India Ltd (SJFIL), the flagship company of Samruddha Jeevan Group. His rendezvous with self sufficiency and business acumen was chiseled at a very early age. Having lost his father very early in his life, the responsibility of his family fell on is young shoulders. Moreover, hailing from farming based family in Solapur, the financial situation he had to face was grim. But he did not give up. He started working and completed his education on his own and supported his family too. His actual experience of hardships associated with farming and allied activities, was eventually responsible for establishment of Samruddha Jeevan in April 2002 and then Samruddha Jeevan Foods India Ltd., registered as a public limited company in April 2006. From then on, there was no looking back for this self made entrepreneur. SJFIL is primarily involved in animal husbandry and agriculture.
The CMD’s exceptional practical experience in the industry enmeshed with technological expertise has propelled SJFIL to unprecedented success. His agriculture background made him especially sensitive towards farmers and their teething issues. That has been an asset for SJFIL, as this sensitivity trickles down to the employees of the company. His vision has been the life force of productivity and profitability of agriculture and animal husbandry. Along with excellent business leadership, Shri Mahesh Motewar is also consciously involved in social welfare activities through Samruddha Jeevan Foundation. For his unparallel work in the field of animal husbandry and agriculture, Shri Mahesh Motewar has earned lot of accolades. These are -
