Mahesh Rao

Hi, I am Mahesh. People generally assume accountants to be boring, number crunchers who can't give up their white shirts. The people who know me can attest, that is far from the truth. "True and fair view", a phrase commonly used in the auditors report is something you will see as a underlying theme in my photography.

Professional Bio

I am currently Head Internal Auditor at a top global Aluminium Smelter. I have managed diverse projects and teams for the past 12 years, specialising in audit, information systems and financial management. I moved to the island of Bahrain in 2007, where I have successfully established processes that support audit communications to the Board and Management.

In my free time I counsel a local photography chapter and actively participate in alumni activities of my alma mater, the University of Edinburgh. You can check some of my photo essays on my blog lifeommentary.
