Malika Perkins Blessing hails from Oakland, Ca with a M.A. Degree from Grambling State University. She has been blessed to showcase her talents as an Actress, casting director (cast both film & theater), stage manager, director, and personal production stage manager for Ms. Ella Joyce for "A Rose Among Thorns".

Ms. Perkins-Blessing World Premiered the stage play as a director for " In The Midst of Them", August Wilson stage play " Fences", NAACP Nominated play "James & Joseph", A gospel stage play "Who's Got the Power", just to name a few. Malika can be seen on B.E.T. in the film The Perfect Man directed by Paul Hannah and she can be seen in the Feature Film Machete Joe which won BEST THRILLER at the The San Diego Black Film Festival and available at Walmart.

Malika is part of the cast with a recurring role on the T.V Series "Get Thee Behind Me" for ION Channel and recently on Punch Network, she can also be seen in "Brookwood Sleezebag" a TV Series for HBO. Malika is remembered in such stage plays as "Caseload" by Levy Lee, "Stadium View" by Judi Ann Mason( Originated the role), "Steal Away", "Romeo and Juliet", " The Old Settler", "Take A Giant Step" the Musical, " The Apartment", " Goin to the Club", " Welfare Queen" and many more. Malika is also a Co-Founder of And...Action! Arts Productions Company (www.andactionarts.com) some producing credits include: James and Joseph, Southern Girls, Stage Reading Series, and The Leading Man which won BEST PICTURE at the Vacaville International Film Festival.
