Mani Dasoju

Hi, my name is Mani and I'm currently a student at Rutgers University. I'm majoring in psychology and human resource management with a creative writing minor.

I love to watch movies very frequently (my Trakt account). Mainly, I love to critique and analyze the patterns and styles used to express a story. Along with that, I attend a film production club in my university and have been a treasurer for it since May of 2017. I also listen to music very often. In fact, I use music as a way to keep a steady beat during work and also just have it as act at BGM to my life. I preferably listen to rock, rap, and electronic music. Some artists I prefer are: Linkin Park, Kanye West, Flume, The Neighbourhood, Childish Gambino, and ODESZA. Other things that interest me are photography, poetry, and streetwear fashion. I constantly note down ideas that could make for a good story or a video, and always have an eye for a good photo. I've started to carry my SLR around with me and own a Pixel 3 for its photography capabilities. I also consider myself a techie, always up to date with tech. news and trying to advance to upcoming tech. updates as much as I can. I follow creators like MKBHD and The Verge to get my news. I think of myself as an original and creative student who likes to be organized and keeps on keeping on towards my goals.

Because of my interest in tech. I know how to use iOS, MacOS, Windows, and Android. I have a well versed knowledge with the MS Office Suite as well as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Audition, and Photoshop. I've also learned how to use IBM SPSS for statistical data calculations.
