Marc is a full-stack web developer with a passion for startups and entrepeneurship. Currently Marc is co-founder and CTO at Openera, a small Ottawa SaaS startup aiming to make a big impact on the world. Previously Marc was co-founder and CTO at Vontiva. Marc also provides consulting services to startups and established software companies, helping them with architecture and technology direction.

Marc enjoys software development and is a coder-at-heart, most recently with Ruby on Rails, but unfortunately doesn't get to spend enough time doing so.

In his previous life, Marc was co-founder and Director of Technology at Mxi, a successful bootstrapped software startup turned $40M company (acquired by Moelis in May 2012).

Most importantly, Marc is a proud father and husband. In his spare time, which these days is extremely limited, Marc is a competitive long distance runner, cyclist and endurance athlete, also dabbling in custom home construction for fun.
