A childhood spent buried in sports books led me to a great fondness for languages, for names and for places. I was able to incorporate all of that into a Linguistics degree, for which I studied in Norwich.
Upon leaving the Fine City, I returned home to my Huddersfield roots and found myself compelled to write about the football matches I attended both locally and, more excitingly, around the country.
Personal reasons took me south again, to Kent, where I have been working as an administrator for some years. This has allowed me to continue writing, both on personal webspace, and also for ForzaItalianFootball, a popular Italian football webiste.
