I am a dedicated Sportsman, passionate Cyclist, Amateur Photographer and, above all, a Technology Enthusiast. I studied to be an Electronics Engineer in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and later obtained a Masters degree in Systems Analysis.
I have cultivated most of my professional expertise in IBM, company I worked for the last 28 years. Presently, I am responsible for the IBM Analytics Business Unit Latin America, but I have been involved in the technology world for over three decades.
The field of Data Science has given me the opportunity to constantly grow and share my know how. While at the IBM Thomas Watson Research Lab in NY and the Research Triangle Park in NC, I was able to contribute to the Development of several IBM offerings.
Throughout my career, I have served as Business Strategist for several areas in IBM Brazil and Latin America, including Systems Hardware, Industry Accounts and Business Operations.
Over the last 8 years I've been a committed spokesperson for the Promotion and Evangelization of BigData & Analytics technologies.
