Marcos Hernández

Froman early age I exhibited an uncanny ability explore, and try new things. Today,I work to push boundaries – applying 15 years experience and childlike curiosityto discover new frontiers, new technology and new ideas to keep things fresh.

My expertise is as a brand steward. I work with companies to craft and implement a marketing strategy, creative concepts and relationship management programs. Additionally, I lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns across demographic groups and media formats (traditional and digital) for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. I'm also an entrepreneur who, with three other equal partners, launched a concept agency in 2004 with the sole mission of supporting larger independent general market agencies with Hispanic marketing services. Since our inception we have grown to a full-service agency, while still servicing key general market agencies. I have more than 15 years of marketing experience. I have worked in both general market and Hispanic agencies: Roger Christian & Company (Coca-Cola & Blue Bell Ice Cream), Cartel Creativo (Arizona Jeans, JCPenny and Tecate) and Bromley Communications (Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble). At FPO I work and have worked with clients such as Coca-Cola, Gibson Guitars, Dove's full line of products, Nexium, Dawn, Pepto-Bismol, Pond's, all Liquid Detergent and Snuggle Fabric Softener, NewTek, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and WHATABURGER.

I have been recognized in many award competitions including the Addy's, Art Director's Club, DSVC, Globes, The New York Festival and the Telly's. Three campaigns I worked on are featured in M. Isabel Valdes' acclaimed book, "Marketing to American Latinos" to illustrate best practices. Public speaking and volunteer gigs include the following: Texas Credit Union Marketing Conference panelist, Tear It Up: Improve Your Marketing; SXSW Panel: The Real Time Revolucion: Latin Culture in America; Hispanic Today Advisory Board (Hispanic National Chamber of Commerce).
