The son of two hardworking parents, Nashville native Marcus Perry has learned that by hard work and much prayer dreams become a reality. At the age of three Marcus dreamed of being a musician. His mother states," One Sunday I remember during church he broke away from me and ran up to sit beside the pianist. He sat there every Sunday until he started taking formal lessons at age four and eventually began playing drums in church at age eight then moved to the organ at age twelve." From here Marcus continued to perform regularly for recitals and different gigs locally and nationally. Marcus' journey as a musician has opened many doors for him such as graduating from Belmont University with a degree in Music and working with notable artists and producers such as Daniel Weatherspoon, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Tye Tribbett, Benita Washington, Tim Rogers & The Fellas, Roger Ryan, Virgil Straford, Sharif Iman and Dara Maclean.

Even though Marcus is a musician he acknowledges that he is worshipper and servant of God first. His motivating scripture is "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

At age 23, God has truly brought much favor upon Marcus' life and on June 1, 2013 the world will see another favor God has added, Marcus' marriage to Ashley Odom.
