Maria’s designs are inspired by many elements found in dance such as, movement, shape, texture, and musicality; as well as her experience as a professional dancer. As a dancer and long time supporter of the arts, handcrafting and designing jewelry naturally found itself into her life. She enjoys creating from traditional and non-traditional materials; but she is particularly fond of copper because of its rich history, versatility as a material, and organic qualities.

• 100% of every piece of art is fabricated by the artist. 98% of the materials used are re-purposed and/or recycled.
