I’m Mariah, an editorial audience fellow at Axios. I was previously a reporter at TIME, where I also contributed to their social video strategy.

I specialize in innovative, digital-first reporting, producing and social strategy. My passion project @HoodHistoryHere aspires to preserve the history of New York City's gentrifying neighborhoods.

In 2020, I graduated from American University in Washington D.C. with a degree in journalism. During my undergraduate career, I interned in various newsrooms including CNN, CBS News and Voice of America.
