Maria Nicolette is an aspiring Communications and PR professional on a career change.

She loves volunteering in her spare time for various charities: Ignite Hubs, Camden Art Centre, Talks by Megan, Enhance the UK, The Children's Trust, Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (GDIF), and Talk Action (Fizzfest).

Her favourite pass-time is to write. She loves writing short stories, though she enjoys working in communication and PR writing content and engaging with the public.

She completed her Masters at Cass Business School in Management, after receiving her undergraduate in Economics from City University. She later completed Fashion Design & Illustration at London College of Contemporary Arts, to explore her creative interests.

Her GOAL is to settle into permanent employment within Communications and PR, and to inspire other disabled women to follow their career aspirations.

Her enterprise incfluence started from MSc Management at Cass Business School in subjects like Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, Customer Service, Management History etc. This was the seed to her growth - so one day she aspires to also create a social enterprise with her skills.

She failed many times in life before she hit her late 30s and found out where she wanted her career to go. So, don't be afraid to start late!

She started in small business ownership under The Prince's Trust Entrepreneurship Programme where she built a business plan applying it to real life. She later lost her kidney transplant and gave up on that dream focusing on her health.

Her first Creative Enterprise with the Prince's Trust, Helenore, was to be a high-end jewellery company selling limited edition, unique, crafted jewellery. Due to her health the dream was not meant to be.

Previously an Analyst at Coutts, Private Banking & Wealth Management, dealing with high-net worth client data, and more recently in pensions as Operations and Risk Specialist at LPP, she moved away from number-crunching into aspiring to become well-established Communications and PR professional and a writer.
