Since completing my Masters degree, with my thesis on Oral Traditional Storytelling, I invite you to benefit from my services. I am a Storyteller and a Folklorist in Turku, Finland.

As The Story Lady, Finland, I tell stories in my native British English in performances and share stories and encourage others to do the same in story cafes; I run classes & clubs for children in storytelling skills and workshops for adults on how to teach, share and utilise those skills. As a well-educated, native British English speaker, with a TEFL certificate from UK-TEFL, I coach adults in English Language Skills, for example for IELTS. For assistance with preparation for IELTS examinations, email me. I also offer general proofreading.

In addition to my work and my studies, I am involved with various English-speaking organisations in Turku as well as being Mum to 2 Finnglish children: Monkey & Mouse.

I have a B.A. Arts Management from DMU and an M.A. Nordic Folkloristics from ÅA. Always learning Finnish & Swedish slowly.
