Marie Villard is the CCO, CTO, and Director of Operations at Financial Synergies Wealth Advisors, Inc., a Houston, TX based independent financial advisory firm.

Marie graduated with a BBA in Finance from Stetson University in 2008, and graduated Cum Laude with a Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism in the fall of 2013. After undergrad, she began her career with SEI in Oaks, PA as a business analyst in Global Wealth Services, where she was responsible for working with advisory firms in client on-boarding, trade support, and overall quality assurance.

In 2010, she went on to work for Charles Schwab & Co, Inc., where she gained even more experience in the financial services industry as a direct back-office support liaison for investment advisory firms who used Schwab Advisor Services to custody their accounts. At Schwab she specialized in complex problem-solving, estate transitions, legal document review, and general account servicing.

With more than seventeen years of experience working with HNW individuals in the RIA space, Marie uses her wide range of industry and operational knowledge to help clients achieve and simplify their personal financial goals. Marie is passionate about operational efficiency and uses that to streamline complex transactions for her clients.
