Mark Christian

Cinematographer Mark Christian (B. 1990) graduated from Point Park University(PPU) with a major in Cinema and Digital Arts concentrating in Cinematography.

Mr. Christian's filmography spans vast ranges and diverse genres, including western, period, drama, fantasy, comedy, romance, documentary, thriller, and commercials. He is proficient with the latest and greatest of camera systems as well as advanced grip and electric equipment. Mr. Christian's most recent film 'Requited' was selected as a finalist in the 39th Annual Student Academy Awards, was an Official Selection at the 8th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, and was selected for the PPU 2012 Cinema Showcase and was screened at the DGA in Los Angeles. 'Requited' is still traveling the festival circuit. During his senior year at PPU he was awarded the Achievement of Excellence in Cinematography Award. Mr. Christian was awarded the Cinematography Concentration Scholarship during his junior year at PPU. His shorts films 'The Kid' and 'Addiction: With Walter O'Donnell' were selected into the PPU 2011 Cinema Showcase and screened at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Mr. Christian most recently has been working with Reebok on commercials and has recently moved to Los Angeles.
