When I was a little kid, I fell in love with an Apple II. Soon I was writing LOGO programs and making a turtle dance on screen, drawing patterns rivaling any Spirograph doodle. I dreamed of growing up and moving to the big city, writing books, writing/directing films, developing video games, and going on adventures—you know, slaying dragons for fortune and glory.
Today most of my dreams have come true. I've thrived in the best big city in the world, but have chosen a better setting in which to fully realize my dreams. I write software professionally (currently a game in development), I write books (even if no one reads them), and have slain many a dragon (with simple solutions to complex problems) over my career.
My life is an adventure and I am grateful for it all.
