Mark Couvillion has been photographing people, places, and things for more than 25 years. A hobby became a passion at the age of 17 when a desire to inspire emotion in others collided with an ability to capture moments with unique perspective.
Raised to respect the mechanics of the photographic process, Mark continues to evolve his creative vision in both digital and film mediums. With a current focus on editorial assignments for live music, he incorporates aspects of landscape and fashion photography to maximize the impact of ambient light on his subjects.
Mark lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and 4-year-old son and occasionally still picks up his guitar and remembers the glory days of his rock and roll lifestyle. He is available for live music assignments and fashion/glamor shoots and has multiple sets for unique photo-booth shoots at live events.
