Mark Dreher PhD

Founder, President, and Chief Science Officer of Nutrition Science Solutions, LLC, Mark Dreher, Ph.D., is an experienced clinical researcher and scientist. Founded in 2009, Nutrition Science Solutions provides strategic nutrition and clinical science research.

Having acquired his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Nutrition from the University of Arizona in 1979, Mark Dreher has more than 38 years of experience in clinical science research. Dr. Dreher began his career as a researcher for McGaw Laboratories. He spent the next 20 years as a research scientist for various companies, including M&M/Mars, Frito-Lay, and Nabisco. In 2002, Dr. Dreher gained a position as the Vice President of Research and Development at McNeil Nutritionals, a Johnson & Johnson company. In 2005, he went on to serve as Vice President/Research and Chief Scientist for POM Wonderful, a position in which he coordinated and supervised clinical studies in a number of health areas.

Drawing on his leadership experience and many years of involvement in nutrition science, Dr. Dreher oversees all clinical research projects at Nutritional Science Solutions. The company provides varied research information on products, including bioactive identification. Nutritional Science Solutions also provides reports on the competitive capability of specific scientific areas, recruits and leads targeted health and nutrition experts for the development of publications, and coordinates conferences for technical organizations and companies.

In addition to heading Nutrition Science Solutions, Mark Dreher, Ph.D., is a member of the following organizations, including the American Society for Nutrition, the Institute of Food Technologists, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He is the author of a number of journal publications as well as three books on dietary fiber and complex carbohydrates.
