Mark Stehlik

A nature lover, outdoorsman, and wilderness expert, Mark Stehlik has been actively involved in summer camps and nature programs throughout New England. He has worked as both a wilderness educator and a trip expedition leader. In 2011, Mark Stehlik was hired as the program director of Camp Glen Brook, where he previously spent two summers as a trip leader and as a Falcon Leader in the camp's Falcon Outdoor Leadership Program. He now supervises and manages all the programs and activities of the camp.

Stehlik graduated cum laude with a degree in philosophy from Bates College in 2010. His high grades earned him a spot on the dean's list along with other honors. As a recipient of the Barlow Achievement Grant from Bates College in 2009, he traveled for 10 weeks in India, accomplishing study and research about South Indian life, acupuncture, and Reiki healing in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He is currently a student of the Kamana Naturalist Training Program. In his spare time, Mark Stehlik enjoys reading, hiking, and backpacking.
