Physicist and business professional Mark Thek has led Los Angeles electrical engineering and manufacturing firm Esterline Power Systems since 1995. Esterline develops power distribution systems for use in the railroad, military, aeronautics, and space industries.

As president of Esterline Power Systems, Mark Thek maintains responsibility for overseeing engineering and manufacturing of the company’s products, as well as handling marketing, sales, and financial matters. The executive also serves as president of Leach International, a company that was acquired by Esterline in 1995. Over the years, Mark Thek has designed technologies that are built to withstand heavy vibration, extreme temperatures, and strong electromagnetic fields. Along with inventors Thomas P.
