Marlowe Holden

Marlowe Holden was born and raised in the great landlocked state of Oklahoma. As a result, she loves the ocean.

She moved to New York City from Oklahoma after college, an experience akin to jumping in a freezing pool after you've been sitting in a hot tub for hours. She did that thing where you walk around the outside of the pool for two years just kind of looking at it and then jump back in to find that it's a reasonable temperature. This is all a metaphorical way of saying that Marlowe now drives like a cabbie, but is still an Okie girl at heart.

She works on new and classical works, theater and film. Currently, she writes and performs sketches for the comedic webseries Hat Trick Bitches, which she co-created with fellow writers Madeline Chilese and Nastasia Green. She is a proud alum of T. Schreiber Studio (where she studied with Terry Schreiber), The Manhattan Film Institute, and The People's Improv Theater, as well as The University of Oklahoma's School of Drama, where she received her BFA in Acting.

She enjoys Dorothy Parker poetry, cats (in general, and dipping soda crackers in soda.
