Martin Gsandtner
Is an architect and teaching assistant professor at Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He taught at the Academy of fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (2008 - 2011) as assistant professor in the Laboratory of Architecture. He focuses on the research of interactive design processes at the intersection of morphomimetic and genetic design computation; algorithmic based reflections; performative soundscape nexus and computer aided manufacturing. He graduated from the Academy of fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (2007), studied one year Conducting & Composition of 20th/21st Century at the KONS Conservatory in Vienna (2011) and Postgraduate Programm from dieAngewandte in Vienna (2010), where he continues in the Doctoral Programm. He collaborated with various offices, co-operated as a tutor at international workshops (Theatre Architecture: Visons and Possibilities, Ljubljana; Urbanity: Twenty years later, Prague; Biennale "Austria Under Construction", Venice), received awards as a co-author (Camera Obscura, Bratislava; Římske náměstí, Brno), exhibited as a co-author at KéK 100 rooms x 100 models (Budapest) and had a solo exhibition (2012) at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague. Since 2013 he is with Imrich Vaško founder & curator of Experimental Architecture Biennial.
