Barbara L. Martinez

Barbara Martinez is the National Education Sales Manager for New Futuro. New Futuro provides Latino families with the knowledge, guidance and the professional social network they need to get their students into college and beyond.

Barbara ensures that New Futuro achieves its revenue objectives by generating new membership and sponsorship opportunities in the education industry. She is also responsible for implementing national and market specific strategies to successfully achieve New Futuro's goals.

Prior to New Futuro, Barbara was a Senior Account Manager for NYC Business Solutions, a program run by Seedco. As a Senior Account Manager, Barbara has assisted hundreds of entrepreneurs with business planning, marketing strategies and access to capital.

Prior to working at Seedco, Barbara Martinez worked in relationship building, project management and strategic development in both international and domestic markets.

Barbara has held management levels positions at multinational corporations such as JP Morgan Chase and Enterprise Rent-A -Car as well as new international ventures such as Beverage Flavors International.

She holds a BA in Marketing and a MA in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa.
