We moved to Brookend Cottage in January 2012 and gardening has been a big part of our lives ever since.
My parents are horticulturalists and I grew up on their nursery just outside Cheltenham. I've inherited their love of plants, but sadly very few of their skills.
Nevertheless, as a family we are having a lot of fun getting to know our garden. It has opened a whole new world for us.
A good friend suggested I start sharing our gardening stories, and the Brookend Cottage Garden blog was born.
