Mat Schaffer is a software developer, educator, and community leader. His career has spanned from enterprises to startups, building approachable and maintainable software at all levels of the stack. He has run community groups, conferences, and university classes to help more people join in the fun of development.

He's currently a freelance reliability engineer working to bring reliable cloud infrastructure to anyone in the world.

When he's not coding he can be found with his wife and two sons, rock climbing, visiting hot springs, or some combination of the three.
