Matt Auckland
Matt Auckland is a Web developer, IT Consultant, Broadcaster, DJ and Technology enthusiast. Founder and developer of social music startup The DJ Book, proprietor of The Laughing Buddha IT Solutions, and Head of Broadcast IT at Voice FM (Southampton) and Unity 101 Community Radio.
Matt is also producer of the weekly Artful & Ridney Show on Voice FM, hosted by the multi award winning music producer Mark Hill (formerly of Artful Dodger), and the amazingly talented DJ/producer Ridney.
He has been featured in the book 'Make it Happen: The Prince's Trust Guide to Starting your own Business', and has been working in the IT industry since 1995.
Matt has a passion for early computing and video games, a love affair that began in the mid 80's. This is only matched by his love of music, which started before he could remember, and led to him taking up DJing.
He loves discovering and working with new technology, not only on the web, but also in computing and broadcast media. Matt enjoys new challenges, pushing his skills and knowledge, building upon his experience, solving problems and meeting new people.
Matt is a keen amateur photographer, and skilled web developer and programmer.
