Hi. I'm Matt Burgess. I have a passion for all things online, with a particular interest in SEO, Paid Search and new media marketing. I've had a varied past in the field, from freelance work, to heading up digital for some of the Asia Pacific's largest websites.

I started out as an SEO Coordinator with Australia's leading accommodation aggregator at the time, Wotif.com. While there I progress to SEO Executive, with a particular focus on their content development. Following my time at Wotif, I headed over to Tourism Queensland, where I continued to focus on content development, and got to promote one of the most beautiful places in the world. Following TQ, I moved on to Comparethemarket.com.au, where I have progressed from SEO & Earned Media Manager (and a team of 1) to Performance Media Manager to Head of Digital, and finally to General Manager of Digital (at which point the team has grown to 9, and we have officially run out of titles).

Also, a failed rockstar who now just writes about music.
