Matthew LaFont is a second year Management doctoral student in the Area of Management in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He holds an Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Texas.
Matthew's research interests include information processing in decision making, particularly under conditions of risk/uncertainty. His current work studies the effects of state and trait affect on escalation of commitment. He is working on a number of journal and conference papers related to his research under the mentorship of his faculty.
