Matthew Battles

I'm a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society and associate director of metaLAB (at) Harvard. I write and speak about the cultural dimensions of science and technology for such venues as The Atlantic, Harvard's Nieman Journalism Lab, and Orion Magazine. I've also written (and spoken) about the history and changing roles of libraries in society; my book Library: an Unquiet History (Norton) is available in eight languages worldwide and has been in print since 2003. On Twitter, I'm @matthewbattles.
