Matthew Eccles

Born November 1977 in Salt Lake City, UT. Lived in Evanston, WY; Montrose, CO; Tucson, AZ where I then graduated HS at Flowing Wells HS in 1996. Served in the Army for 6 years from JUN 1996 to JUN 2002 at Fort Jackson, Fort Gordon, 39th Signal Battalion in Belgium, 2d Battalion 5th Field Artillery at Fort Sill, OK. In Jan 2000, I was elected as the Fort Sill's BOSS President (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers). I also served as the President from JAN-2000 to JUL-2001. Worked several jobs while looking to get into the tech industry. In May of 2010, I was offered the dream job, the job I have been looking for for almost 8 years. I was hired by Fort Sill's Network Enterprise Center to be a Desktop Support Technician. Then in November of 2012, I was given the opportunity to move to Reynolds Army Community Hospital. Now backup a few years, I found my wife Esther here at Fort Sill in 2000, we married in 2001 in Lawton, OK. With our home already full with Esther's children from a previous marriage, Michael and Angela helped us welcome a boy named Ian in Sept 2003 and a girl named Mia in Jan 2006. We currently live in Fletcher, OK and both Esther and I work on Fort Sill as DOD Civilians.
