Matthew Hurtt is a nationally recognized grassroots organizer and public speaker, whose public presentations have reached thousands of libertarian and conservative activists in all 50 states and across the globe.

Hurtt is also active in national Republican politics and served as an At-Large Delegate from Virginia to the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and a Ron Paul-supporting, Mitt Romney-bound At-Large Delegate from Virginia to the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Raised outside Nashville, Tennessee, Hurtt now calls Virginia home, where he works to break down barriers in public policy by building winning coalitions.

Prior to his most recent work, Hurtt wrote fundraising direct mail copy for high-profile conservative elected officials, candidates, and organizations.

Hurtt has appeared on local news and commentary programming and on national and international outlets such as One America News, Al Jazeera, and the BBC. He previously wrote commentary for a number of online sources, including Reason Magazine's "Hit & Run" blog, The Daily Caller, and others.
