Matt (mateo) Kates

Matt is a newer piano teacher, who caters to a limited number of passionate adult novices. He takes pride in shattering the myth that one must begin learning the instrument as a child.

He received his degree in Music Education from CSU Northridge in 2011 with a focus on percussion, and plays piano for Los Angeles band Manhattan Murder Mystery. Matt has a unique musical background, and is proficient with many instruments and styles of play including classical, jazz, and pop.
