Matthew Bickert

I am a young professional working in Pittsburgh, PA as a Business Analyst at Highmark, Inc. I graduated from Westminster College in 2011 with a degree in International Business. I have a passion for travel, volunteering, and experiencing new cultures/people. I previously lived in Rockville, MD where I worked as a Business Analyst for the United States Food and Drug Administration. My passion for traveling continued to grow ever since studying abroad in Rome, Italy during college. This "travel bug" has made it difficult for me to stay in one place! I recently returned from a trip to South East Asia where I volunteered as an English teacher in Vietnam and Indonesia (with some exploring in Cambodia) for five months! What an invaluable experience! I hope to use these interests along with my degree to find a career that allows me to travel and make a difference in developing countries.
