Matt Korshoff

Matt Korshoff entered the banking industry in 1990, as Head Teller at Transflorida Bank, while studying Business Administration at Broward College. Now the Vice President of Community Bank of Broward, Matt Korshoff applies expertise acquired over 22 consecutive years in the field.

Korshoff left Transflorida in 1992 to join Republic Security Bank. He moved up the ladder to become Vice President and HUB Manager. In 1999, he took the position of President with a newly organizing institution called FedFirst Bank. Korshoff handled many of the duties required to meet federal regulations, including preparation of the business plan, application for a Federal Charter, selection of Directors of the Board, and management of the Board's regularly scheduled meetings.

Matt Korshoff subsequently joined City National Bank of Florida at its Fort Lauderdale location. As a Branch Manager and Vice President, he organized, opened, and managed a new branch that reached deposits totaling $25 million in its first two years. Korshoff created new consumer and commercial loans and directly contributed to the bank's improved ranking.

In his current position as Senior Vice President with Community Bank of Broward, Korshoff assists the bank in opening new branches. He also holds responsibilities in the areas of commercial lending, manages performance ratio improvements, and assures federal regulation compliance as the chair of various organizational committees.

Matt Korshoff has a General Banking Diploma and is certified in Commercial Lending and Deposit Operations through the American Institute of Banking. Mr. Korshoff also earned a diploma from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. He acted as the Director of the Greater Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce from 1994 to 1996, and he currently serves on the boards of the American Lung Association of South Florida, Broward County Public Schools, the United Way of Broward County and Leadership Broward.
