My name is Matthew Lee and I grew up and have lived in NW Oklahoma City my entire life. Out of high school I headed off to The University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. It was there I discovered my desire to work in health care and more specifically, as a dentist. I started attending pre-dental club meetings and in a couple short years, I was elected president and made a final push to get accepted to dental school. I was fortunate enough to be accepted on my first try, and now attend The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, located at the Health Sciences Center in downtown Oklahoma City. I was also one of 5 students selected for an Air Force scholarship that will pay all of my tuition and fees as well as give me a small stipend to live on during dental school. Once my dental school education is complete, I will serve in the Air Force for at least 4 years as a pay back to them for my free education. I am currently beginning my second year of dental school and am the current president of the class of 2014 at the dental school I attend.
