Matthew Green

Highly experienced business owner and CEO with a track record of success across education, publishing and health. I prove effective leadership and develop efficient economic and marketing strategies for small businesses, medium-sized companies, international schools and large non-profit associations, in countries with vastly differing political ideologies, socioeconomic backgrounds and religious beliefs.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Wollongong University majoring in Management and Legal Studies and I am currently the Commercial Director for OurPlanet International School Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, an International Baccalaureate school offering the Primary Years Program. I am responsible for managing the financial performance of the school as well as all other operational functions including IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Admissions, Facilities and Maintenance. I work with a senior management team comprising the Head of School, Head of Arabic, Early Years Coordinator, PYP Coordinator and Admissions / Marketing Officer, who provide advice to the school Board on the matters listed above.
I work closely with the Board of Governours, and the local Omani partner His Highness Sayyid Mohamed Al Said in setting strategic goals for the school and providing advice and counsel for the school’s business operations. I was the Acting Head of School for several months until our new Head arrived in May. I am heavily involved with the Parents and Friends Association and the wider school community helping with fund-raising ideas that have provided equipment and resources for the school.
