I was a Pixar technical director for 10 years, solving the creative & technical problems of making 6 animated feature films (Cars, WALL•E, Up, Brave, Monsters University, and The Good Dinosaur).

But I realized that as amazing as Pixar is and will continue to be, it had "solved" the technical problem of making a computer animated film. So I left to find my next adventure and help build something that is novel, awe-inspiring and unsolved.

I've found that challenge in Virtual Reality. This is what I was looking for when I left Pixar, the next leap in how we tell stories and touch our audiences. Making VR stories is a career as ambitious as what Pixar's founders set off to do in the early 80s. That's the kind of adventure I was looking for.
