Madeline Chilese

New York City

Madeline, or "Mad-Dog" as her Venturing troupe leader called her, spent the first 18 years of her life screaming incoherently and eating as much as possible for the lean years she knew to be ahead. She attended college at University of Northern Colorado on a World of Warcraft Scholarship. There she studied acting, psychology and basket weaving. Upon hearing about something called "Deep Dish Pizza", which she assumed to be merely the talk of legends, she travelled to Chicago, Illinois. She remained there for two years before deciding that New York City is where she belonged. Kind of. I don't know. We'll see. DON'T PRESSURE HER. SHE'S DOING THE BEST SHE CAN AND DOESN'T LIKE TALKING ABOUT ETERNITY, OKAY?

She moved to New York in 2010 and quickly found an audience for her work when her play "Three Equals One" received its first reading that fall. She has continued writing and acting while also co-founding the Classical Theatre company "Tale Told Productions" in 2012.
